Village Off Licence, Manchester

Village Off Licence

In the heart of Manchester’s Gay Village, just down some stairs and suitably quirky, you'll find The Village Off Licence - open from lunchtime every day until late.

There is more here than meets the eye.

As you’d probably expect, you can find an extensive range of spirits, wines (with a selection of chilled bottles) and beers and lagers of the canned and bottled variety. You’ll also find shots, alcopops and soft drinks. Perfect for a picnic in the nearby park areas or, if you’re visiting Manchester, then as a sundowner or nightcap to have to hand in your hotel room. The Village Off Licence also stocks cigarettes and tobacco that’ll save you from hiked prices and disappointing contents supplied by those cheeky vending machines.

In addition, you’ll find a plethora of school day memories in the shape of old fashioned sweets sold pick-and-mix style and other chocolate and confectionary for the sweet of tooth.

For those that need to chill (summer and winter), there are also icecreams and lollies on offer.

If you’re living or staying close by, then you’ll also find it very useful to drop by for those little essentials like tea, coffee and fresh milk.

Open 12-11pm from Monday to Thursday, 12-11.30pm on Fridays and Saturdays and from 1.30pm until 11pm on Sundays.
