If you're the parent of a lesbian, gay or bisexual child then it's good to know that you're not alone...
The Manchester Parents Group is a voluntary organisation supporting families and friends of lesbian, gay and bisexual people. They are all parents of LGB sons and daughters and understand the confusion and questions that parents may have when first discovering that a son or daughter is gay.
The group meets each month in central Manchester as an informal support group, they run telephone help lines offering a friendly, listening ear... they also campaign for acceptance, justice and equality for lesbian, gay and bisexual children and educate other organisations and the media on issues surrounding homosexuality.
The very well organised MPG website is packed full of information, resources and help - it's well worth a visit.
