Manto on Canal Street is legendary - one of the original features of the gay village and has been through a number of changes over the years. Set on three floors with a covered and heated external balcony on the second level which also serves as a sheltered smoking area, this is very much a place to see and be seen.

Inside, the upper level provides a gallery from which to watch all the ground floor action, while on the third level is The Lounge which offers an intimate chic setting for a variety of different events and can also be hired out for private parties from Sunday to Wednesday evenings (with catering available).

Every day is different at Manto and there are both regular and special events to keep everything fresh and funky, including live bands and indie music, clubby nights and cabaret evenings. There's a great food menu offering exception value for money with great deals available every day. Manto's also serves up coffee to be savoured in-house or to take away and there's also a comprehensive cocktail and wine menu. Speaking of the bar, there are also some great deals, including 2-4-1 deals all day every day making a drink or two with a friend very easy on the wallet!
