Mission Malawi was formed in 2003, and has since raised over £40,000 on the first Mission in 2004, and over £132,000 on the second Mission in 2006, for AIDS relief in that poverty-stricken country. Of the population of 11 million, over 9% is living with the effects of HIV, and over 100,000 people die from AIDS every year in this tiny African country.
