Pride Games 2008 @ All over the Village
A week long sports & leisure festival with cultural activities at accessible venues in Greater Manchester.
Taking part is what matters most and there will be sonething to suit most tastes. It will challenge stereotypes and provide many and varied opportunities for participation in a way that suits you. Either as a volunteers, a sports club, an individual, as a sponsor. Everyone is welcome!

PG2008 Alexandra Park charity Fun Day @ Alexandra Park
This is the opening event of PrideGames 2008 - a charity fundraising day. It includes the monthly Alex Park 5k Run (a safe curcuit inside the Park), community relays, climbing wall, Rugby League taster and more. Good food and drink will be available . Now in its fifth year, Northern Wave's Sunday swim is held in the fabulous 50m Training Pool, with wide lanes, great coaches and lovely people. Open to all, Sunday caters for swimmers of most abilities who want to improve their swimming strokes or train for competition. How fast and how far is up to you. Hope to see you there!
