I am very proud to say that PrideGames 2007 was a great success with over 1,200 participants in sports and activities over 7 days, including over 200 people taking part in sports for the first time!

A new sports group, ‘Open Athletics’ was formed and our headline sponsor, AXM-Bar, delivered a fabulous and highly visible PrideGames Hub and we produced six sports focused Pod Casts for Canal-St Radio.

Other firsts included, a Youth Games, an athletics tournament, an aquathlon, a 10k run and Manchester Frontrunners joined English Tri-Athlon.

Thank you to our amazing team of volunteers, Team Manchester sports and leisure groups and all our fabulous sponsors and supporting organisations, you really did make a difference’.
