This summer for the very first time, Red & Wild held its first spin-off fundraising event: Wet & Wild.

In conjunction with AXM Bar, Cruz 101 and Pride Games, Wet & Wild once again took over Cruz 101 nightclub on Saturday, 18th August 2007 to raise awareness and funding for The Lesbian & Gay Foundation.  For the first time, the event was also broadcast on Gaydio 87.7fm.

For a summer special, we sure got the name right, as it may have been raining outside but everyone went wild in the club, especially for the outstanding live performances from scene favourite Angie Brown who (regardless of being 8 months pregnant) brought the house down.

We are currently awaiting the figures from how much you raised that night from the LGF, but we are sure what you did raise will go some way to helping those who need it the most.

Thank you for making another Red & Wild fundraiser a huge success. This festival, created by people in the community, needs your help all year round to succeed, and at Wet & Wild, you showed that Manchester can come together to do it once again!
