BBC Radio Manchester is teaming up with Gaydio for a special day of programming to support World AIDS Day on December 1st.

Featuring live coverage of the city's Red & Wild festival, the day will kick off at 2pm on BBC Radio Manchester's FM frequencies 95.1 and 104.6.

 

The station's mobile studio, Studio 6, will be live from Sackville Gardens, home to the Candlelit Vigil and the Beacon of Hope - the UK's only permanent memorial to those that have died from AIDS.

 

Those listening on DAB will then be able to keep listening to a whole day of special programming for the rest of the day.
