Pride Games 2009
PrideGames is an annual tournament of sporting events for LGBT people. Sports featured include Athletics, Running, Swimming, Water Polo, Canoeing, Rugby, Men's and Women's Football, Badminton, Dancing, Archery, Mountain Biking, Aquathlon, Sailing, Kayaking, Youth Games and the famous Bell Boat Regatta!

| Thursday, 11th March | Running with Manchester Frontrunners @ Sugden Sports Centre, Manchester Starting at 7pm so arrive by 6.45pm if you're changing beforehand. 15-20 runners attend each week. Two routes, one run March - late September (Summer Route) and the other October to March (Winter Route). Both are as 'off road' as possible, but given we live in the middle of Manchester, this isn't exactly guaranteed! Generally, there will be someone around to support new members. We make no charge for our weekly run, all we ask is that you join the club by paying the annual membership if you want to run with us regularly. times: from 6.45pm door tax: Annual membership fee £12 |
Manchester Sharks Water Polo Club @ Miles Platting Pools, Varley Street, Mikes Platting, Manchester M40 8EE Manchester's top LGB water polo team. Internationally renowned and a great bunch of people. Lots of training opportunities and now in the water polo league. As a Northern Wave club there are plenty of swim training opportunities to be had. If you can tread water for more than a minute, swim reasonably confidently and want to play water polo, then The Sharks would love to meet you. Village Manchester Football Club VMFC @ Albert Park, Salford Formed in 1996, we are a Gay Men's football club with ambition and commitment in providing all players and supporters with a competitive, yet fun approach to the beautiful game.
