Well, it's been a long time in the pipeline, but we're extremely excited to announce the arrival of REALManchester.com. A low-key soft launch party was held on Monday 6th December.

Well, it's been a long time in the pipeline, but we're extremely excited to announce the arrival of REALManchester.com! To mark the occasion we threw a fairly low-key soft launch party at AXM bar on Canal Street on Monday 6th December. Enough Champagne was served to knock out most of the guests - a big thankyou to the AXM barstaff for looking after us! And, of course, HUGE thanks to the REALManchester team for putting in a manic weekend of listings, photography, reviews and lots of technical bug fixing! You're all bloody marvellous, and you know it!

The website is already attracting hundreds of visitors (we had over a hundred within an hour of switching it on!) and we're hoping that over the next few months the word will spread that the site is rather fabulous (though we do say so ourselves!). We've got a small but perfectly formed team of photographers out there (cheers you lot!) so if you see someone snapping then be nice to them please. And we'll be working hard to get our business directory up to speed over the next few weeks.

REALManchester was launched in association with another new kid on the block, Hot Village. This handy little flyer booklet fits neatly into your back pocket and contains a month of Manchester bar and club flyers for easy reference. We love!
