Set to be one of the glitziest highlights of the year for Manchester's Gay Village, this Community Dinner celebrates the great and good of Manchester's famous gay quarter.

Local entertainer, the fabulous Jonathan Mayo will host the Village Community Awards before you party the night away with live music all night.

There are five community awards up for grabs this year and if you would like to nominate an individual, community or charitable organisation or a business and recognise their work within the gay community, please email with your nomination (full name or individual or organisation please), together with a brief explanation of what they do and why you think they deserve an award.

The categories are:

• Village Sports Community Group 2008
• Village Community Group 2008 (non sport)
• Village Community Event of the Year
• Village Community Venue of the Year
• Village Community Person of the Year

This year's awards and dinner event will be raising funds for the George House Trust - a local organisation committed to promoting the best quality of life for all those people with HIV and providing advice, information and practical support for anyone affected by it.
