Will Wright safely back home

A personal note from Will Wright's father thanks REALManchester readers and Manchester's gay scene for working together to help find Will - who is now home and safe.

A father publicly announcing that he is proud to have a gay son is the perhaps unlikely but positive outcome of Will Wright's disappearance last week and of many people's concerted efforts to make sure the trail didn't go cold. With obvious tremendous relief Paul Wright, his dad, sent in a note to us and wanted us to pass on his thanks:

Hi there.
Just to say thank you to everybody for their help in finding Will Wright (who is now safe).There is such a community spirit - it has been amazing and makes me very proud to have a gay son. Perhaps you could find some way to convey my thanks to your members and readers. Many thanks, Paul Wright.
