I did wonder what they were up to with all those drapes, pots of paint, glitter and staple-guns! AXM is being transformed into Heaven and Hell to mark Manchester Pride's Big Weekend! The ground floor is to be Hell and is providing the VIP area all weekend, with a separate entrance at the back for all the mainstage A-Listers, darling! Upstairs... you've probably guessed... is being given the Heaven treatment complete with glittery clouds and projections.

Anyway, never mind all that... here are some of the people in the bar with us as we sipped our cocktails and watched the afterlife being created around us.
