review

It's hard to imagine Canal Street without Manto. Most of us were still knee-high when the bar first opened its doors, and for many of us it continues to be the first bar we hit on a night out... those BOGOF deals are too good to ignore.

The red carpet at the door welcomed us into the main arena this Thursday night, where Manto DJs past and present got everybody's body moving, whilst the Homiesexual team took over the lounge. The crowd loved it, although it's probably true that we also love Manto just as much when we're sat on the balcony on a sunny afternoon or when we're dancing away at the legendary Breakfast Club until 8am on a Sunday Morning!

about Manto

Manto on Canal Street is legendary - one of the original features of the gay village and has been through a number of changes over the years. Set on three floors with a covered and heated external balcony on the second level which also serves as a sheltered smoking area, this is very much a place to see and be seen.n.
