Having heard good things about some recent changes, we decided it might be nice to pop along to Manto.
Our first few pictures were from a pre-club drink earlier in the weekend, but despite having been deserted by my entourage (three's a crowd, anyway) I went back once the Breakfast Club was in full swing.
The door staff had clearly kept any undesirables at bay and there was a relaxed, happy atmosphere. There was a good mix of people - all of them pleased to see our cameras and happy to chat about what good nights they'd had... and indeed were still having.
Martin Watkins and Michael Godsmark supplied some superb tunes while an attentive bar team kept everyone watered. And even the lovely Ian was enjoying himself while doing a spot of moonlighting on the cloakroom.
Despite his earlier promises and the added convenience of his cloakroom, it was a little disappointing to note all his clothes were still on when I left... maybe we'll get those photos next time!
