Easter Spirit...
review
Everyone loves a bank holiday – especially one with a built-in fancy dress theme! There were plenty of big ears, bow ties and fluffy tails scattered around Spirit tonight... although I did think the bloke in the corner digging holes and eating carrots was overdoing it slightly.
I always feel spoilt for choice in Spirit. The music is fantastic and makes me want to dance like a maniac right in middle of the writhing sea of torsos that make up the dance floor... But then upstairs is always fun as well... a bit more relaxed, nice to sit and have a cocktail and chill amidst the canal street chaos... And then there's still the roof terrace to explore, where you can cool down while you overlooking the bustle of the street below. I never can decide which area I’d rather be in, so I usually do the rounds three times – like circuit training in PE but with alcohol. All they're missing is the communal shower...

about Spirit

Purpose-built for your socialising pleasure on Canal Street, Spirit Bar is a deceptively large venue. Arranged on several floors, there are plenty of squashy sofas in which to kick back and relax, not to mention those cheeky beds on the mezzanine floor upon which to make the first move with that first date! In fact, whether it's a romantic date, a quick one after work or a night out with your mates, the relaxed and friendly atmosphere is perfect for drinking and chatting. Today for Spirit: The Big Chill
