Rear of the Year 2006...
review
Well it's that time of year again and another Pride is upon us, with all its usual traditions. Which means it's time for AXM's Alex to hand over the coveted Rear of the Year title to another deserving Village barman.
And the winner is... AJ, the entrant from Queer. Congratulations!
Not really any surprise that the crowd enjoyed watching all those cute bums being paraded up and down the stage; this REALManchester photographer was close enough to reach out and touch... but of course didn't. I'm a professional! I can truthfully say though, that they were all winners in my eyes...

Manchester Pride has been around for a number of years, previously in the guise of Mardi Gras, GayFest and the Ab Fab Weekend. In recent years, the organisation has grown significantly, focussed its aims and provided a network for community groups, the City Council and the gay businesses - no mean feat! The next Manchester Pride date for your diary:
