Shinky Shonky!...
review
Shinky Shonky, the outrageous cabaret show from London, made its way to Manchester for the first time ever to stage on a one-off performance as part of the QueerUpNorth festival.
The night was packed with singing, dancing and in-your-face rude, crude humour! Boogaloo Stu was our host with the most and he introduced us to the Sparklemotion Showponies dance troupe, burlesque stripper Princess Knickers, the lovely Miss High Kick, the fabulous Le Gateau Chocolat and the cheeky Kunt and the Gang!
There was plenty of audience participation with sing-alongs, sniff the gussett competition (!) and a game of true or false involving a LOT of chocolate sauce... at least we hope that's what it was!
Truly a must-see-it-to-believe-it experience! You can catch Shinky Shonky at its regular home down in London, or irregularly at the seaside in Brighton.
