The first of a three part music special staged over three Manchester venues as part of the QueerUpNorth festival 2007.

'Queering the pitch' kicked off with 'Band Night' in Retro bar. We saw three fantasic performances from Manchesters own Hooker, Brighton's The Dirty Cakes and Scottish band Fake Fang.

With dancing and drinking into the early hours - Queers rock!
