Queering the Pitch - Acoustic night!...
review
It was time for the Queering the Pitch mini music festival to come to a mellower close.
Tonight we saw an acoustic set, in the chilled-out setting of Lammars in the Northern Quarter. It was time to sit back and relax with a Corona or two and enjoy the variety of amazing vocal performances on offer.
Singers included Zoe McVeigh of Manchester band Hooker, Owen Duff and K Anderson, whom had earlier braved the cold to perform at the Village Fete.

I normally don't do 'gay', but as this was an alternative to the normal offerings of the gay festival, it caught my eye in the programme, and made the trip down to Manchester specifically for it.
I had already met K Anderson (Keith) and his friends Helen and Sam at the Village Fete, where they were very welcoming, and it was great to catch up with them at Lammars, which is a very nice venue, and I was also introduced to Jenny, the lovely ticket lady, and Owen Duff.
The music and sound were excellent, and all five of the performers, from what I saw, were splendid, talented and just all round lovely people. I would very much liked to have stayed the rest of the night, but the last train home beckoned, far too early.
