Pride Games 2007 : Sports+...
review
The finale of the Pride Games 2007 sports festival was presented in the form of Sports+. A whole day of taster sessions, the bell boat regatta, a sports brunch was kicked off with a 10km run.
In addition to all that exertion, there were sports therapy and relaxation technicians on hand to sooth sore muscles. For those with even more energy, a bungee run and surfboard simulator were freely available to all, with donations encouraged for the George House Trust.
Despite promises of some pretty miserable weather, we were repreeved with just a short downpour - unfortunately just as the Prairee Dogs had got into their stride!
Well done to the Northerwave Bell Boat Regatta team who pipped everyone to the post to pick up the Gold Medal for the third year running. Someone get out there in training for next year!
