If you've been out in the village over the last few weeks then you can't have failed to notice how few items of clothing some of the bar staff were wearing... the battle for this year's coveted Rear of the Year awards was on, and the venues were taking no prisoners!

Rather than the usual 'cheer-for-your-favourite' voting system, the 2007 award was given to the bottom with the most text votes. We're told that a whopping 49p of every 50p vote goes to charity (it seems extremely generous of the phone networks to only take a penny from each message - hoorah!).

So with the votes in, all that remained was for the boys and their bottoms to parade around in Shultz pants with little sashes to keep the draughts out (not that Schultz pants are draughty!), and for everyone to enjoy the awards.

With venues competed fiercely for the award and it was always going to be a contested result - but congratulations to Ross (axm) for having benefited from what must have been an intense text campaign to be voted this year's top tush!
