The night all the girls had been waiting for was finally here! Vanilla's favourite club night 'Climax', in a fresh new venue at Manchester University.

The new and improved, much much larger location went down a storm, with Vanilla's much loved alternative night 'Sugar' with DJ Riv finally getting its own room!

We were also treated to live music from the brilliant Switch and the very up and coming Axegirl, who release their first UK chart single this week. Both acts were fantastic, kicking off the night brilliantly! The dance room saw the Vanilla dancers and newly crowned King and Queen of Canal Street hitting the stage and busting their moves till 4am.

Hot girls. Hot music. And possibly a bit too much alcohol! Roll on the next Climax!

about Manchester Pride

Manchester Pride has been around for a number of years, previously in the guise of Mardi Gras, GayFest and the Ab Fab Weekend. In recent years, the organisation has grown significantly, focussed its aims and provided a network for community groups, the City Council and the gay businesses - no mean feat! In the heart of the Village, this welcoming bar is very much part of the establishment and has been around long enough to know how to treat us well!
