The Can-Can Can...
review Joogleberry's themed evenings just get better and better - and their latest offering of Moulin Rouge, coupled with Absinthe, was never going to be anything but a complete success. With two green fairies (was that before or after my Absinthe?), Courtesans galore and a plethora of heaving breasts (not to mention my bout of Consumption the following morning), it was most authentic. Sue was the hostess with pretty much the mostess, although more Moll Flanders than Satine, one swish of her very scary wig, and she had the audience jumping and can-can-ing to order (she's really bad for business...I can tell). With music, a fabulous cabaret and an up-for-it crowd, the only dampener was, possibly, the bad-wedding-reception music towards the end of the evening. However, that aside - this was a fantastic night. Check out REALBrighton.com for future happenings down at Joogleberry's.
