Manchester Pride has been around for a number of years, previously in the guise of Mardi Gras, GayFest and the Ab Fab Weekend. In recent years, the organisation has grown significantly, focussed its aims and provided a network for community groups, the City Council and the gay businesses - no mean feat! If you were wondering where all the girls have got to then your answer is Vanilla. In the heart of the Village, this welcoming bar is very much part of the establishment and has been around long enough to know how to treat us well! The bar has understandably picked up a number of awards including DIVA magazine’s Best Bar award and has just been voted best bar by readers of G3 Magazine - with sister clubnight, Climax, grabbing the spotlight as Best Clubbing Event in the UK.
