We're told that there's no rest for the wicked. Well, in the case of the breakfast club at Mantos, this is certainly the case. The first Saturday of the month means Recreation with funky, chunky and tuff house from top DJs.

DJs Nik Denton, Stuart Robinson, Gregg holden and Paul King took to their decks in almost equal measure on both floors to ensure that we stayed out far later than should be allowed. Your intrepid REALManchester photographer crawled home before sunrise and will remember that he's not quite as young as he used to be in future...

Manto on Canal Street is legendary - one of the original features of the gay village and has been through a number of changes over the years. Set on three floors with a covered and heated external balcony on the second level which also serves as a sheltered smoking area, this is very much a place to see and be seen.n.
