11am. Departure time. And not a soul to be found. Not even a porter (I wonder where HE got to, Carl/...

...and the sun rose and the birds began to sing. But the party didn't stop when Canal Street closed. The pictures we haven't got include Keiran propping up the hotel front desk for a few hours, Richie getting an unexpected visitor at 5am and Kyle claiming to be walking back to the hotel...

		Manchester GayFest 2000 It was the very best birthday weekend anyone could hope for. Lots and lots of lovely people all in one place at one time, a gorgeous hotel, a lovely meal, and a Canal Street to explore. view review

Sunday morning was a bit of a strain with only about 10% of the party showing up for breakfast, but by the time Canal Street warmed up at 2ish the group was out in force. Alcohol began to flow freely again, and by 5 even I'd forgotten how little sleep I'd had. view photos
